Quick Chakalaka Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 250g Pasta (penne, fusilli, or your favorite)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can (410g) Chakalaka
  • 1 can (400g) Chopped Tomatoes
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in Chakalaka and chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
